The Medis team at CPhI hosted a reception at Die Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt, Römerberg, Wednesday night. It was an evening filled with enchanting art, music and a fine dinner. Die Schirn is a magnificent nationally renowned art gallery in the very heart of Frankfurt.
Valur Ragnarsson, CEO of Medis, was the host of the evening and the guest of honour was Claudio Albrecht, CEO of Actavis Group. After some words of welcome, the guests were taken on a guided tour through the exhibitions of two internationally acclaimed Icelandic artists: Erró and Gabríela Fridriksdóttir.
Their exhibition at Die Schirn was organised to coincide with Iceland being the guest of honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair, which also took place in Frankfurt in October. After a welcoming speech from Valur Ragnarsson and some kind words from Claudio Albrecht, it was time to party and dine. As the evening progressed, it was clear that both the guests and Medis staff were all having a great time. Makes one look forward to the next CPhI gathering in Madrid next year.
