Business development
The principal role of Business Development is to sell intellectual property and pharmaceutical products in international markets. The department´s goal lies in increasing sales of pharmaceuticals and registration documentation to customers outside Iceland, while searching for new opportunities in these fields.

Customer service
The Customer Service unit handles the receipt and processing of orders and all related customer communications. In addition, Customer Service is responsible for formulating sales plans in cooperation with Medis customers, and for coordinating initial efforts when products enter new markets.

Launch Coordination
The Launch Coordination department handles the coordination of the launch of new products.  The department is responsible for ensuring that products are ready for launch at patent expiry,  but growth for Medis is driven by new product launches and entrance into new markets.  The department It is also responsible for support and relations of third party manufacture sites.
